Dealing with Bullies

by Ryan
(New York)

Hello,

I approached one of my youth because I saw she was bullied after school on her way home. I spoke with her but I wasn't completely sure what to say, what should I do aside from tell her to go speak with the teachers or principals, I told her to bring it to God but what else can I do?

If I catch it again (the first time I wasn't sure so I didn't approach them) what actions do I take? (my church doesn't allow me working with youth without another adult. I don't normally speak with youth without another adult however she looked very disturbed and I can't allow one of my flock to be treated in such a way and ignore it). This was not covered in seminary!

In Christ's love,
Brother Ryan
