Feeling lost and Inadequate

by Pastor Shauntelle Best

Hi I'm really in need of spiritual support from fellow believers such as yourselves.

I am an ordained 29 year old pastor. My church, The voices of Israel ministries is the only one of it's kind in my country. My spiritual covering is based in the USA. Because of this I am "least of the gentiles". I have no connections to any other pastor or church in my country. My church is a relatively new church so the membership is small. It's also a house ministry for the time being. We are currently in the process of building which is very hard for us because we are small in number so there's not a lot to work with financially.

What makes my journey so hard is that I was born with a hair lip and cleft palate which as you could imagine has left me facially deformed and puts me in a place where people see my face before the take time to see my heart. Outside of this I have an amazing singing voice and the Lord has favored me with a high anointing.

I really need desperately to meet some strong anointed men and women of God. I need any advice or prayer that you can offer to me... hopefully in this forum I can meet those who have a passion and a love for God and his people no matter what color, class or creed they may be. Also I need any advice you can give on how to take this ministry forward. I love you all God bless you, can't wait to build friendships with you

You asked for advice on how to take the ministry forward, and it also seems that you have very limited resources to invest...

God bless you brother, I pastor a small church as well and wonder if I'm doing anything right. But when God moves and people get saved, i know I'm doing what I've been called to do. And so are you, it's all about Jesus and the cross, "that no man should boast" keep going buddy.

Have you tried to deal openly with the congregation about your infirmity and how having it strengthened you? It might be that such a challenge can bring others in a similar situation to be with you.
