If Walls Could Talk, What Would They Say?

by Terry Brunson
(Philadelphia, PA.)

Walls have a lot to speak about. If Walls could talk, they would tell of all the secrets that goes on behind them. Walls would tell of lies, murders, thefts, forbiddened love relationships, and all manners of human corruptions! But all that being true, walls would talk and say. . . . . . . "ME'NE, ME'NE, TE'KEL U-PHAR'-SIN." which being interpreted means: "IT'S JUDGEMENT TIME!" and "Thou are weighed in God's balance, and found wanting." Judgment is a time when secrets will be disclosed, and sins exposed, and a sentence imposed! Let us review God's word on the topic: IF WALLS COULD TALK, WHAT WOULD THEY SAY?

Daniel 5:1-5,8,10,11,13,14,17,25,26,27

I. Judgement Is A Time For Review

II. Judgement Is A Time For Reward

III. Judgement Is A Time For Regret

Appeal: Let's not wait for "The Hand Writing On The Wall" to tell us it is too late to get in where we fit in Jesus' plan of greater grace. But instead let us read and heed "The Hand That Wrote On The Ground" in John 8:6,8, while there is still time for pardon and forgiveness of sins.
