Losing my Faith (3)

Well, this past board meeting... I announced that my wife and I will be leaving the church Jan 1st. I'll continue to oversee the youth on wednesdays and fulfill my board obligations through the end of the year, as far as Sundays, they are pretty much over for me. Sunday mornings are so dead and dry, it has taken a toll on myself and several others, to the point that it is unhealthy for us spiritually. This church has such great potential... but the important thing is that it is the church God wants it to be, not the church I want it to be. Those who like a quiet, non-interactive, non-spirited church experience, need a church to go to also. Here it is.. My wife and I feel relieved. No coincidence that since my announcement I've heard from NO ONE from the church staff. That says a lot.
