Out of the mouths of babes

Being the wife of a mission pastor, I worked a full time job and my husband was able to work his schedule so he would be home when our two children returned home from school. It made working out of the home a lot easier.

On Sunday's I was always prepared with paper, crayons, coloring books, etc., in case one of my little ones got restless when their dad was preaching. On one particular Sunday, during the sermon time, my 6 year old daughter was busy making a special card for her dad. I wasn't paying much attention (because I was listening to the sermon!), and when the service was over, she proudly ran up to her father and handed him with this her beautiful card. On the front was a pretty little flower and had the words, "Daddy, I love you!" On the inside, it read "Now, get a job!"
