Prophetic Ministry

by Pst Femi
(Abuja)

I am 30years old, an assistant Pastor in a little church in Nigeria. I'm into ministry full time.
More rampant these days is the prevalence of prophetic ministers, charismatic and daring in their activities but are redirecting the people of God to themselves. Some go as far as saying teaching ministry is no longer relevant in the end time, thereby doing a lot of activities/make-believe/stage managed miracles to keep the gullible congregation out of the Light of the gospel.
My heart bleed seeing these precious soul turn down every opportunity to witness to them or even invite them to meetings.
How can one be more effective in sharing with this group of people?

A simple answer...

Not sure where you are from. I ministered briefly in Benin several years ago.

You may have answered your own question. Labor to teach well with sound doctrine. The prophetic movement throughout the world is mostly run by fruits, flakes and nuts. I am charismatic in my beliefs, but most of what goes for God is like you have said: self-directed.

Teach the true from the false. It will take some time, but those whom God has touched will come around. Your country needs the teaching gift now more than ever!
